A girl's best friend

(Images courtesy of Martha Stewart Weddings)
The entire festive frenzy that is 'engagement' starts with a single question... and a sparkling rock, of course. Showing off her new bauble is the priveledge and guilty delight of every newly engaged girl.

Dazzling diamonds always bring with them the sound of Marilyn in her pink shoulder gloves and gown....
"A kiss on the hand
may be quite continental,
but diamonds are a girl's best friend...

Square-cut or pear-shaped,
those rocks don't loose their shape.
Diamond's are a girl's best friend"
